The western US, Canada and Alaska are home to an endless variety of mountains. Solitude is easy to come by here, and so is adventure. For beginners and seasoned alpinists alike, there is something for everyone in these great mountains. We offer adventures throughout the continent, including:

We've been exploring the Cascades for decades, and we are proud to share our intimate knowledge of the these wild mountains. Whether you are out to build your skills, to challenge yourself, or to simply find some peace and quiet, these mountains offer it all. Come to the Cascades for wild ski tours, high routes in remote ranges, beautiful alpine rock, and the most rugged terrain in the lower 48.

The Canadian Rockies

Ice climbing doesn't get any better than Alberta. Beginning in November, the waterfalls begin to freeze on the limestone walls of the Rockies, and there is ice for months to come. Fine ski tours can be found along the Columbia Ice Fields, linking surprisingly vast interior glaciers and rugged peaks.

Alaska

The possibilities in Alaska are nearly without limit. From incredible ski mountaineering day tours in Valdez, to Heli adventures in the Chugach, full-on expeditions in the Alaska Range, and fly-in base camp skiing in the Wrangells: we've done it all, and we are always excited to go back.
